Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs

These Swedish Meatballs are a comforting classic! With a rich, creamy sauce, they’re perfect served over noodles or mashed potatoes for a hearty meal.

Ingredients
26 ounces frozen precooked meatballs
4 tablespoons butter 🧈
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream 🥛
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
A dash of allspice
A dash of nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving
Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Preparation
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add the frozen meatballs to the bottom.

Make the Sauce:

In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
Whisk in the flour to form a smooth paste.
Gradually stir in the beef broth and heavy cream, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, allspice, and nutmeg.
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the Meatballs: Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the meatballs in the slow cooker.

High setting: Cook for 2 hours.
Low setting: Cook for 4–5 hours.
Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot over egg noodles or creamy mashed potatoes for a delicious meal.
