Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the Beef and Veggies: In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. Once the beef is partially browned, add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and the vegetables begin to soften.
- Add Seasoning: Add the minced garlic and seasoned salt to the skillet, and sauté for another 30 seconds. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Layer the Casserole: Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish. Layer the cooked beef and vegetable mixture in the bottom of the dish. Top with the provolone cheese slices.
- Make the Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, Worcestershire sauce, and eggs. Pour the mixture evenly over the meat and cheese layer in the baking dish.
- Bake the Casserole: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is cooked through and the eggs are set.
